On August 27 (Thursday), the Good Neighbors Global Impact Foundation (Chairman Chung Hae-won) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Hong Kong-based global tourism company GG56 (Founder Han Seung-soo) to develop and promote the social economy.
With this MOA, the Good Neighbors Global Impact Foundation and GG56 are planning to establish a global donation system based on cryptocurrency technology, build a collaborative network such as jointly developing new projects based on blockchain and AI technology, and establish a collaboration system to improve the quality of life for local residents in developing countries around the world.
The founder of GG56 Han Seung-soo, who also served as the Prime Minister in Korea, said, “By introducing a trust system for donation culture in the 4th Industrial Revolution and establishing a transparent and reliable donation culture, GG56 and the Good Neighbors Global Impact Foundation will contribute to the advancement of donation culture with a donation system trusted and participated by many people.”
Chairman Chung Hae-won at the Good Neighbors Global Impact Foundation said, “This MOA will serve as an opportunity to further boost social economy projects using blockchain technology and help our alienated global neighbors suffering from financial difficulties.”
Meanwhile, in addition to this MOA for the social economy, GG56 made sharing more meaningful as they donated 20,000 masks to the Good Neighbors Global Impact Foundation in total: where 10,000 masks went to households at risk and public institution staff in Korea and 10,000 masks went to people in Nepal.
